I have worked in both schools and nurseries, alongside having a 5 year old of my own. I have experience working with SEN children, and children who simply just don't want to sit and smile, and thats absolutely okay! We always find a way, and so many parents say "wow i can't believe you got them to smile for a photo, i wasn't expecting them to cooperate".
Working with babies and children requires lots of patience and I have it in bucket loads! My studio sessions allow plenty of time for us to go at your child's pace, whether that be settling in and getting used to their surroundings, or extra feeds and cuddles, nothing is rushed.
I keep a calm, relaxed and comfortable environment so that your children also feel calm, relaxed and comfortable.

Your newborn session will capture all of those tiny features and amazing memories of your baby being so small. They really do grow so quickly which is why I recommend doing these sessions before baby is 3 weeks old.
Your sitter session captures your baby’s first big milestone of learning to sit, perfectly paired with their new forming personality and little giggles.
Your first birthday session is a celebration of a whole year with your baby and often takes place with a big messy cake smash session! These sessions include a personalised set up and three stages of photos. These stages are clean, fun portraits, messy cake smashing, and finishing up with a splash in the tub which the babies absolutely love.
Following on from your baby’s first year, my clients regularly opt for a family session to capture updated family portraits now that everyone is another year older.
The majority of clients also go on to take part in my mini session subscription, capturing fun, themed photos of their children throughout the year at all 5 mini sessions, for just £20 per month.
Based in Doncaster, my studio is local with easy access for clients. I have a home studio in Dunsville with parking available for all clients. Newborn babies are sleepy and easier to pose when they are between 5-21 days new. However, all babies are all different so please do get in touch if your baby is a little older, or if you want to come to see me sooner!
Please don't worry! My studio is warm and comfortable and most drift off really quickly after a feed. If not, then I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to calm your little one! Sometimes the wide awake photos with their big, beautiful open eyes are parent's favourites.
We will pencil a date before your baby arrives, but we can always move it if your little one is early or late! I try to keep flexibility in my diary as babies are often unpredictable! I recommend booking your session anytime after you have been given your due date.
Your gallery of images will be delivered for you to choose from around a week after your session. Your chosen, edited images will be with you in 3-4 weeks from your session date.
Just received our proofs and I am utterly blown away. Absolutely beautiful photos already and cannot wait to see the final edited pictures. Heather was so patient with our little boy when he wouldn't settle and made everything feel relaxed and calm. The photos have come out so lovely and will provide us with memories we will treasure forever. Can't recommend enough and will definitely use again for future photographs.
