Prior to your session, we will arrange a consultation, where you will visit my studio with your baby, and we can discuss themes, interests, allergies and create the personalised cake smash session that you desire. This is a great opportunity for your baby to explore the studio and helps to ease their settling in period on the day of the session.
CAKE SMASH PHOTO SHOOTS USUALLY LAST ABOUT AN HOUR OR SO. THERE GENERALLY COMES A TIME WHEN YOUR LITTLE ONE HAS HAD ENOUGH AND THAT’S WHEN WE STOP. THE SESSION IS COMPLETELY BABY-LED SO WE JUST GO WITH THE FLOW AND CAPTURE YOUR CHILD'S EXPERIENCE.
WE WILL BEGIN YOUR SESSION WITH PORTRAIT PHOTOS, SO DRESS YOUR LITTLE ONE IN AN OUTFIT THAT YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED IN. WE WILL THEN MOVE ONTO A FEW FAMILY PHOTOS SHOULD YOU CHOSE TO HAVE THEM. FOLLOWING THIS WE WILL CHANGE OUTFITS READY FOR THE CAKE SMASH AND INTRODUCE THE CAKE! THINGS MAY GET MESSY VERY QUICKLY SO COME DRESSED FOR A CUDDLE FROM YOUR CAKE COVERED CHILD! WE WILL THEN GO ONTO THE "SPLASH" WHERE YOUR CHILD WILL ENJOY A FUN-FILLED BATH MINI SHOOT. AFTER THE SESSION YOUR CHILD WILL BE NICE AND CLEAN, SO YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HOW YOU WILL GET A MESSY, CAKEY CHILD INTO THEIR CARSEAT, AS THEY WILL HAVE WASHED IT ALL OFF IN THE BATH.
Additional images, prints and products can be purchased during your viewing session where you will select your images. Then can also be purchased once you have received your final gallery.
Packages can be upgraded at any point up to the end of the viewing session.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, this secures your booking and we will set a date for your cake smash photoshoot at my studio in Doncaster. This deposit will be deducted from your total package price, The outstanding balance will be paid at your face to face viewing session.
