SO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE...

So obviously i'm a photographer, in the DN7 location! I love all things photography and this really is one of my biggest passions and something I've always wanted to do.

Becoming a mother made it so much more real that i really wanted to run my own business and spend as much time as possible with my baby. I have been running my photography business for just over 2 years, and have plenty of experience with all ages.

I'm probably one of the most bubbly, happy, easy going people you'll ever meet! We will have endless conversations in my studio about absolutely anything, and honestly i'm all here for it. I consider my clients to be potential friends and it's so important for me to build really positive relationships with clients.

I like to keep my sessions really relaxed and natural, so if i'm talking away, don't mind me, it's just who i am! As long as my clients feel comfortable, at ease and able to relax while i photograph their beautiful families, i'm happy.

Before becoming a photographer in DN7, i worked in several local schools and nurseries, and had previous experience of working with children of all ages, abilities and needs. Please don't worry if you think your child is hard to photograph or won't sit still. I have so many tricks up my sleeve from years of experience, that so many families are pleasantly surprised at how well their children sits when in my studio. I can guarantee beautiful photos of your babies, trust me when i say i have the patience of a saint!

As a mother myself, i completely understand all the difficulties of navigating parenthood. My boy is now 4 year old and not so little anymore, so you'll find me soaking up all the extra baby cuddles during my newborn sessions.

The importance of photography

As i have said many times, i am too a mother, and i really do see how quickly they grow and how time flashes before your eyes. This is why it is so important to capture the moment and not have any regrets. Of course professional photography is an investment but you have these images for a life time and they are photographs of your child's core memories.

For me, it's like i've woken up one day and all of a sudden my little 7lb 12oz baby boy is 4 years old, but i am so grateful for technology and the ability to capture all these moments, and have the photographic memories to look back on. Especially as he grows older, my boy loves to sit with me and look back at the photos from when he was a tiny baby, and we get to relive them all again together as photographs of these memories.

This is why i'm so passionate about getting professional photographs taken, because they are only tiny once, especially family portraits, you can never get that time back, and those are the images that your child will cherish the most in 20 years, and in 50 years.
